Sideways Fish-bone Braid

The "sock bun" tutorial was such a big hit, I decided to do another hair tutorial. This time it's the sideways fish-bone braid. I first noticed this braid while perusing through one of my top fashion magazines..O.k., so maybe I was actually watching High School Musical 2, and I saw that Sharpay had fish-bone braids. But doesn't she look "Fabulous"?

Anyway.... It's a super easy hairstyle that takes no time at all. Please check out my video for the tutorial. Oh, and the screaming child in the background is my three year old wrestling with his daddy. Also, there's an awkward moment of me not talking that I was too lazy to edit out. :-)

Thanks for the beautiful screen shot YouTube.

I'm linking up to these great blogs.

  1. You make it look so easy- I just think it would be a mess if I tried it--though I just might have to

  6. What you failed to mention is that you have the dance moves to go along with the hair. Can you please do a tutorial on that next?

Breana, that's great!! I bet she was such a cutie with it. It's so easy... I've worn it twice this week.

Audrey, I'm already on top of things. I currently have my hair in tiny twists sticking off my head. We shall see how it looks in the morning...
