{25 Days of Christmas} The Calendar

It's almost here!!!! The weather is getting colder, my nandina berries are getting redder, the days are getting shorter... All signs that Christmas is right around the corner!

Starting from our list of 50 things to do at Christmastime, I've filled in our December calendar. Man, we're gonna be busy!! And you know what, if something doesn't happen or falls through the cracks, that's ok! Our main goal is to make lots of memories and have fun! And I know that will happen no matter what. :-)

In case you would like a little more inspiration, I thought I'd share our calendar with you. Obviously some of these things are local, but I'm sure all your communities have plenty going on as well!

Each night (let's be real - most ...some? nights) we are also going to unwrap a book to read around the Christmas tree. Fun!!

  1. What a fun list. I have a partial list in my head, but it is no where near as organized. The Christmas boxes are in the garage out of the crawl space at least, but not unpacked. Tomorrow starts the Jesse Tree devotions, but the tree isn't even up yet! Several years ago my mom organized us to make the ornaments as the family gift that year and it is really special. There are felt, contact paper, shrinky dink, glass, and all sorts of other crafty materials. Since we are spread across the US, it is a nice way for our hearts to be together at Christmas. It will happen, later or later. Thanks for the inspirations!

  2. Love your list! I so appreciate all the great ideas that you gave for our 25 days of Christmas. I was reading the above post and the m&m nativity is what we are doing for our neighbors. Happy December!
