Easy Homemade Coffee Shop Cream Soda

We have a local coffee shop called Arsaga's here in Fayetteville, and they have the best cream sodas.  Seriously, I could win a chugging contest (not sure if those exist for cream sodas) every time I order one.  The only problem is, they are ridiculous expensive.  Soooo, the last time I went, I asked what all was in it.

This is it!

Half and half, flavored syrup, and Perrier

You have to find the right concoction though.  I got a glass of ice and added about 2 T (tablespoons) of Raspberry syrup, 2 T of Vanilla syrup, 2 1/2-3 T of half and half, and the rest is Perrier.  It's easy to add more or less of any of the ingredients and change out the flavors to come up with your perfect cream soda.

Not even kidding, it tastes exactly like the coffee store version .... Good on my funds, bad on my buns.

  5. Sooo, finally gave this a try this evening, and gotta say that it is pretty much wonderful!! When Aaron came home with sparkling water from Walmart, I was like, "I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THAT!!" I had gotten some raspberry syrup (already had the vanilla on hand) after you posted this recipe, and I now have half and half in my fridge most of the time. So, it worked out perfectly. Anyway, thanks again for the recipe!
