{Menu Monday} Par-tay

Good morning! I'm sooo excited because... today is my birthday! I love my birthday, and I don't know that I will ever grow out of it. And not only is today the day, but it's a BIG one -- 30! So far I'm not having any sadness or feeling any weirdness that my 20s are over. I have a feeling that my 30s are going to be even more blessed and more fun than my 20s. Your 20s are full of NEW. New relationships. New jobs. New homes. New everything! Adjusting to marriage, babies, adult responsibility. It's fun, but it's full of challenge and change. I'm hoping for my 30s to be characterized by a little more stability. With plenty of spontaneity thrown in there. ;-)

Because it's my birthday, I don't have to cook tonight. My husband has plans for me, but he won't tell me what. That's always fun! And I do know that he got my mother-in-law to watch babies, so that sounds even better. :-)

So, my Monday slot is empty. But I'll be cooking the rest of the week!

Monday - It's my birthday. Oh yeah.
Tuesday - Beans, Cornbread
Wednesday - Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, Eggs, Fruit
Thursday - Chicken and Dumplings, Steamed Carrots
Friday - Hamburgers, Potato Casserole, Salad
Saturday - Tilapia Fish Sticks, Macaroni & Cheese, Salad
