{Menu Monday} Reaping the benefits

Menu planning was SO easy this week. Actually, I didn't do it. I didn't need to, because I already have my 5-week plan in rotation. I so highly recommend it!

I read lately that the sleep that you get before midnight is more beneficial than sleep after midnight. Not great news for this night owl. But... this pregnancy has really been kicking my pants, so this week I'm going to try to be asleep every night by 10! That means I'm going to be putting the kids to bed earlier (usually 9 or 9:30). That won't work on church nights, but we'll do what we can.

Now, here are the yummy foods we are eating this week!

Monday - Avocado Grilled Cheese, Chips, Caesar Salad
Tuesday - Nachos
Wednesday - Baked Omelet Squares, Grits
Thursday - Crockpot Flank Steak, Baked Potatoes, Baked Parmesan Tomatoes
Friday - Chili, Fritos (this is my favorite chili!)
Saturday - Broiled Tilapia Parmesan, French Bread, Caesar Salad

My husband is LOVING all these meals, and I'm loving that I don't have to think about it on Sunday afternoon. :-)

    That's interesting about the sleep. Definitely easier said than done to be in bed before midnight!

    1. It is, Katie! Especially when you have kids and that's your only adult time! It was worth it today though – I feel so energetic! :-)
