{Menu Monday} SuperMom

Welcome to a new week! I love this week in January, well, because it's the week leading up to my birthday ( :D ), AND because it means winter is half over! Only February to get through. And maybe some of March, but since you never know what March will be like, you can psyche yourself up that it's going to be warm and spring-like.

It can be rrreally hard to get in all your vegetables and all the vitamins and minerals you need at any time, but especially in the winter when fresh produce is scarce and not that good anyway. Obviously, I'm taking vitamins right now since I'm preggo, but I really think they are so beneficial at all times. (My husband will laugh when he reads this. He knows that if he didn't remind me -- and sometimes BRING them to me -- I would forget my vitamins all the time. But I do believe in them. :-) Anyway, I wanted to share my favorite kind with y'all. They are a good mix of value and quality. When I'm not pregnant or nursing, I don't take the full dose, so that makes them even more economical. They are horse pills, but you can get the capsules if you like. So without further ado: SuperMom Multivitamins from Beeyoutiful. They work as prenatal vitamins or just a good multivitamin for women. (Guys, they have SuperDad too. Oh. And SuperKids. You can all be super!)

But we should still try to get plenty of our goodness from our food! Notice all the salad in my menu?? I'm not that inspired when it comes to vegetables. ha!

Monday - Spaghetti, Cheesy Zucchini Bake
Tuesday - BBQ Pork, Potato Casserole, Salad (moved from last week)
Wednesday - Quiche, Fried Potatoes, Fruit
Thursday - Chicken and Black Bean Quesadillas, Chips, Salsa, Guacamole
Friday - Homemade Corn Dogs, Oven Fries, Salad
Saturday - Marinated Grilled Shrimp, Baked Potatoes, Caesar Salad
