{Menu Monday} Pizza!

Good Monday morning, everyone! We have some yummy food on the horizon this week. I am trying a new pizza dough for my crust this week. Does anyone have a favorite crust recipe? Share it with me! I'm always looking for something new. :-)

Monday - Beans, Cornbread
Tuesday - Burrito Pie
Wednesday - Quiche, Fried Potatoes, Fruit
Thursday - Leftovers
Friday - Pizza, Caesar Salad, Garlic Cheesy Bread

I make a quick 20-minute pizza dough for those who like thinner (not cracker-thin)crusts: Mix ~2.5 c. flour, .5 c. cornmeal, one packet of rapid rise yeast, about 2 tsp. salt, and a healthy tablespoon of herbs. Pour in about 2 c. warm water while you mix, until your dough comes together. Knead for about 5 minutes. Let it rest while you preheat the oven to 425, and get your toppings ready. Roll out on a cornmeal-dusted surface and you know the rest!

    I usually divide in half, bake one pizza and freeze the other.

  2. I always use Naan from Trader Joe's for personal pizzas. I have to admit, I find that making my own dough is so much work. it's delicious, but I want something quick!
