These jam bars can be made with any fruit preserves, jam, or jelly that you like. My personal favorite is plum, but you'll just have to try them out to see what you like. :-)
Amy's Jam Bars1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup butter (not margarine!!)
1 1/2 cups oats
1 cup pecans
16-oz jar of jam or preserves
Mix all ingredients except the jam together. Mixture will be crumbly. Pour about 2/3 of mixture into a 13x9-inch pan. Pack down firmly. Spread jam on top, and sprinkle remaining batter over the jam. Pat down.
Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
