Teacher Appreciation Gift for FALL

I have seen so many cute teacher gifts all over pinterest, and last week I decided to make my son's teachers a little something because I appreciate them so much!!

I was thrilled when I saw some of these cute cups with straws at Family Christian Bookstore. They were fall-themed with pumpkins and leaves, and they even said "Give thanks unto the Lord." Best part? They were on sale for $5! Perfect.

So I grabbed two, and then bought some yummy chocolate candy to fill them with. I typed up "So thankful to have you as my teacher, Ms. (Name)!" Then I printed them, cut them out with decorative-edged scissors, and let my son sign his name below. I just attached the signs to the straws with glue dots, so they would come off easily. Lastly, I added some pretty ribbon. They turned out really cute! Super easy too.
My son was so excited to help fill the cups with candy (and eat a bit of the candy while he was at it!) and then give them to his teachers. :-) And the teachers loved them too.

It's such an easy way to show our teachers how special they are to us, especially now that the first few weeks are over and the reality of school has hit us all!

Here are my two little guys holding the cups. :-) Yes, my youngest son does wear clothes sometimes!

Hope this project inspires you to show some appreciation for the teachers in your life!

Blessings, friends!
