"Merry Christmas, movie house! Merry Christmas, Emporium! Merry Christmas, you wonderful old Building and Loan!" -George Bailey
It's time to get in the Christmas spirit. However, I've had a hard time doing it this year for numerous reasons, including the passing of a very dear friend over Thanksgiving.
I sat down this morning and wrote out my December Calendar so this Christmas wouldn't just pass by us. If you live in Northwest Arkansas, maybe I'll see you at some of these events. If not, I suggest looking on your local library's website for any activities. Also, local churches might have plays, candlelight services, cantatas, and other events they are hosting. You can check out defrumpme's list of 50 things to do at Christmas if you're still coming up short.
Without further ado, here's our tentative plan for December. (Note: I left Sundays and Wednesdays open since we'll be in church those days.)
Saturday, December 1st- Decorate gingerbread houses at home.
Monday, December 3rd- Rogers Annual Christmas Parade @7pm
Tuesday, December 4th- Make cinnamon heart ornaments.
Thursday, December 6th- Craft Party with the "Defrumpme girls"
Friday, December 7th- Christmas movie night at home (Watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Frosty the Snowman, and make "Grinch punch" and snowman pizza.)

Well that's our December schedule this year. I'm sure some things will get moved around or changed... no worries as long as I get my cozy socks and hot chocolate a few of those nights. :)
