It prompted me to look at one of my favorite iphone apps: Chirp! Bird Songs USA+. It's a wonderful app for identifying and learning bird songs. You can set your location, so you can see birds near you. The app has gorgeous pictures with up to 34 seconds of bird song for each bird. I highly recommend it whether you're a beginner or more experienced at recognizing those chirps. :-) I'm very much a novice, and I was able to figure out that the lovely chirps outside my window belonged to a Northern Cardinal. I was just so pleased to figure that out! So, if you have an iphone, ipod touch, or ipad with iOS 3.2 or later, then go buy this app! You will love it! And, no, I am not being paid to endorse this app (ha! I wish!!). :-) In fact, it would make a lovely Valentine's Day gift (maybe coupled with a new bird feeder and some seed) for that special someone in your life. :-) Just a thought...
Okay. On to heavier stuff. My garage--GROAN! Can I quit now? Even though I haven't even started? I am not brave enough to show you pictures yet, but I will. Still gotta work up some courage. :-D I will, however, show you some pictures I am just ecstatic over that I found while perusing pinterest. I would love for my garage to look like these garages someday!
Ahhh! Doesn't it bring warm fuzzy feelings inside when you see these pictures? :-) Check out my Garage Organization board on pinterest for more awesome ideas. Also, a friend of mine bought me 4 hours of time from a professional organizer for my baby shower gift! So cool, right? Anyway, I'm sooo looking forward to hearing what this organizer says about my garage and how I can get it looking good on a dime! Definitely can't wait to share all her tips with you as well!
Last but not least, I wanted to let you know that I've lost 8.5 pounds so far! Remember, my goal is 20 by my birthday. I'm beginning to think it may be possible after all! I did have a couple weeks where I plateau'd and didn't lose a thing. That was really, really hard. I wanted to give up. But I didn't, and I'm so glad!
Anyway, keep going on your own journey! Keep working on those goals! It's hard, but it'll be so worth it in the end.
