What I {Amber} Did This Summer

Hello, to the Land of the Living!!!  In case you didn't notice, we took a blogging break over the summer.  (If you want to call being with 3-4 kids every day and night a break.)  We're hoping to get back into the swing of things, but first, I thought I'd give you all a glimpse into what I've been busy doing this summer.  (Prepare yourself for picture overload.)

My family kicked off our summer by moving into a new house!  And we kicked off moving into our new house by scraping all the "popcorn" off the ceiling and priming and painting every. single. wall.  Thankfully, we had friends and youth group to help.

Rhett helped with the painting too.  ;)

We did enjoy having a much larger backyard this summer!

I held a snake.

 Elliott dressed like Moses...

and a pirate.

We visited Pawpaw and Nana a few times.

We went to a few birthdays...

 celebrated the Fourth of July...

swam a lot...

and smiled a lot.

We had fun at the Splash Pad!

We enjoyed beautiful sunsets...

and they learned how to swim.

We went to the Grape Festival...

and baseball games.

I even attended a few weddings.

I took a gazillion pictures.  See more @

 Rhett grew 6 teeth!

We didn't work a concession stand with youth group this year.  Which meant, we actually went to a game!

 They created works of art...

and spent hours in our yard.

We even managed to visit Beaver Lake.

The best part of my summer was seeing these beautiful boys every day.

I'm so glad to be back though, and I'm ready to continue on my defrumping journey!
